These are a must! Whether you're getting married, want to give your special someone a unique gift,  or just want to feel GORGEOUS, these sessions are for you. All boudoir sessions are done at 2805 Boston Road in Wilbraham in a historic brick building with lots of beautiful window light. Sessions include a pre-consultation either on the phone or in person, access to my client’s closet, a full boudoir session lasting 1-1.5 hours with 3-4 outfit changes, and choice of 10 digital images with full printing rights. What is a boudoir session like? Hear from a client! An interview with Ms. L

What were your reasons for doing a boudoir session?
 
I went through a hard period of my life where I struggled with medical issues. When they were resolved, I was struggling to feel comfortable in my own skin again and grow my confidence. I had always wanted to be confident enough to have a session, but it took me awhile to actually take the plunge - and I am so glad I did! 
 
Why did you choose Danielle Shaughnessey Photography?
 
A trusted friend had her boudoir shoot done by Danielle, and could not rave about her more. Her photos were GORGEOUS! It was a no brainer.
    
What were your feelings like before your session? Were you nervous? Excited?
 
Both! I was so nervous about not being able to pose in a flattering way despite professional direction, or hide my accidental "mean mug" when I don't smile with teeth. I was also excited because I was really looking forward to the empowerment that I had heard comes with getting a shoot done.

 
What was your actual experience like? 

It was INCREDIBLE. Danielle immediately makes you feel at ease. She gives the perfect direction so every angle and photo is damn near flawless, and I have frankly never felt sexier. 

 
What was it like to see your pictures for the first time?
 
I was absolutely speechless. I definitely squealed! I could not believe it was me in these stunning photos. It was honestly a huge confidence boost seeing myself look THAT GOOD. 

 

What advice would you give to another woman considering a boudoir shoot? 

 
Just do it! You seriously will not regret it. I believe every woman should have a boudoir shoot done. It is good for the soul and every woman should feel how I feel looking at those photos.
 
Anything else you'd like to add?
 
Stepping out of your comfort zone can be scary, but some of the best things in life start with a little fear. So if you are scared, I promise it will be worth going for it.  I cannot recommend Danielle enough for guiding any woman through this experience and she goes out of the way to ensure your session is everything you want it to be and more.
