This shoot was close to home. Literally. Roots Barbershop and Lounge is located in Wilbraham right next to our studio. When they reached out to us about taking some branding and behind the scene shots for their business, we were thrilled. 

Stepping into Roots Barbershop, you immediately just feel cooler. Capturing their laid back vibe, was not difficult to do. All three barbers are welcoming and relaxed. Their space is decorated with an eclectic assortment of art, photography, and furniture, complete with a comfortable sitting area with record player. Most importantly, the shop is welcoming to all ages. During our time there, the clientele consisted of adults, teens, and even toddlers in for their first haircuts. Each and every customer left freshly cut, relaxed, and cooler than when they arrived. 

We used natural light and took advantage of the many amazing candid moment in the shop to capture the feel of Roots Barbershop and Lounge. Here are a few shots from the day:
